‘Panun Pan Parzan’ wins Viewer’s Choice Award at International Sadho Poetry Film Festival in New Delhi, India (December 2009).

फिल्म 'पनुन पान परज़ान' कश्मीर के संत कवि लल द्यद के वाख और शेख-नूरुदीन वली जो वास्तव मे कश्मीर मे नुंद रेशी नाम से बेहतर जाने जाते हैं, के श्रुक्य में बद्ध शिक्षाओं पर आधारित है. फिल्म मे इन संत कवियों की शिक्षा को आज की हिंसाग्रस्त कश्मीर वादी के परिप्रेक्ष्य मे देखने का प्रयास है.

पनुन पान परज़ान के लिए लल द्यद और नुंद रेशी को आधार बनाने का मुख्य कारण रहा भाषा. जहाँ लल द्यद हिन्दू धर्म बढ़ रहे आडम्बर का विरोध करते हुए समाज को उससे बचने का मार्ग लेने को कहती है वहीँ नुंद रेशी मुसलमानों को इस्लाम के सत्व को समझने और अपनाने के लिए प्रेरित करते हैं.

The film Panun Pan Parzan interprets the message of saint poets Lal Ded and Nund Reshi (Sheikh Noorudin) in context of today's violence torn Jammu & Kashmir. There has been strong international attention of Jammu & Kashmir since 1947 when India won its freedom but was divided to from the Islamic state of Pakistan.

The film ‘Panun Pan Parzan’ seeks to rekindle the sensibilities of all concerned towards the social-spiritual solution by reminding of the message of two of the greatest of Kashmiri saint poets, one Lal Ded- a Hindu spiritual saint poet and Sheikh Noorudin- a Moslem spiritual saint poet.
